The cables are mirrored on each hand, and create a new pattern when laid next to each other. They were loosely inspired by some of the cables in Norah Gaughan’s excellent Knitted Cable Sourcebook, and the charts also use the smart and easy to follow method of shading purl stitches used in the book.
