  • CONSTRUCTION

The stranded colourwork creates a warm, cushy fabric, has an easy rhythm and creates an interesting crown pattern. In all sizes there will be enough leftover from a single skein of the less used colour to make a full, plush pom-pom. Of course, the pom-pom hides the crown pattern a little, but pom-poms are so cheerful that I had to include it. Elbert is worked from the bottom up and includes directions for three sizes to fit larger kid’s and most adult’s heads. A relaxed beanie style that’s slouchy enough to pull down over the ears when necessary, for extra slouch just add an additional repeat.
