You’ll begin by knitting the flat sole in cushy garter stitch – simple shaping with increases and decreases create “pockets” for the toe and heel. You’ll then pick up stitches along the open edges and work the upper section in the round. The toe flap is worked back and forth and joined to the stitches at the sides as you go. Finally, complete the slipper with a neat I-cord bind off for a sturdy finish. Add an optional hanging loop, weave in a few ends, and the un-felted version are ready to wear!
