She has a brand new red dress, with buttons.
She likes flowers, especially the smell of roses
but it is just a little bit scary when they’re even bigger than her!
She loves to snuggle mousie,
but can’t wait to have a friend called Madeleine to play with!
Thank you for all of the wonderful name suggestions, it looks like you all have names picked out for your versions. The doll pattern will be part of the little collection I’m working on, and although it will be a while before it’s totally ready I promise it’s coming together. And after that I think it might be fun to do a collection of variations on the basic doll with a stuffed wardrobe full of clothes patterns. I mean other than the sweater collection I’m also working on, did I mention that? I’m quite excited to get back to those sweaters when the wee things are done.

She’s adorable! I don’t suppose there’s any chance of releasing this pattern early, like in time for Christmas knitting, is there? My niece would love her!
She turned out lovely!!!! I cant wait to knit her up, my girls are going to love her!
What a cutie!
OK, I never did dolls as a kiddoo, but the shot where she’s snuggling Mousie? *ded of kyoot!* She’s lovely! I think my niece might like one….
So cute! I especially love the little red barrettes/hair ties at the front and the fact that she has a somewhat large forehead. My family used to tease me mercilessly about my forehead when I was a kid ;)
So cute!!! Looking forward to the pattern so I can make one for my niece. :}
This is wonderful! I can’t wait to see the pattern – my little girl would love this! :0)
Poppy is perfect. :-)
Poppy is the perfect name for her! I’m not even going to pretend that I’d be knitting one of these for an actual child, it would be for me. Then she could have a whole box of clothes and maybe a little gretel beret.
omg, cutest doll ever!
Okay, I am 20 years old and I feel like I need her to snuggle with me in bed at night.
ooo – I too have a Poppy, she is 6 and blond, but other than that just like this wee poppy. and mine loves Madeline tooo :-D
<3 poppy <3
This doll is really lovely!
I see a really cute hat in this page:

can you bring me the tutorial? I’m making one hat, but… it’s horrible, I can’t continue….and your hat is perfect!!
Thank you.
she is cute. maybe i needs a little poppy in crochet or whatever in her hair. a knitted doll is something special and i used to have the cutest knitting book of dolls as a child. i am so sorry it is not in my possesion any longer. they were a bit like her. you really are so clever at designing both clothes but now this…
Hello, Poppy! :)
I love the pic of her snuggling Mousie… you’ve warmed a heart here in the wilds of middle America! Thank you!!
Oh wow. Cute! I hadn’t realized mousie was so small. Awesome.
She’s so cute!
I love Poppy. Appropriately red dress. Making toys always appeals to me, though I can’t always get them to look as good as the picture in the pattern!
omg this is great! are you coming up with a pattern??? oh please do!
I have knit 2 mice already, I can’t wait to have an owner for them. Your toys are like a glass of cold water, I just have to make one between other projects because they are so refreshing!
she is absolutely adorable!
Enchante Poppy! (i was hoping you’d pick that one) what a perfect name and a perfect pal for Mousie.
i can’t wait to meet your friend Madeleine.
Cute little red dress!
Preciosa
Very cute! I have been looking for something similar for my little niece who has just gone 2. Great name too.
A lovely name that suits her.
I can’t wait to knit her for a gift for someone.
lovely indeed!
I’ve just finished a spicy coloured Elijah, if you want to see it…
Sweet! maybe when my niece is a bit older.
I’m totally smitten! I love her. Hurry! Finish the collection!
She’s so darn cute! I’ll eagerly await the pattern, as I know my daughter would love this doll very much, and she is, quite frankly, even cuter than the cute knit dolls I’ve seen before. I find very realistic dolls to be a little uncanny valley-ish, but there’s nothing more charming than something like Poppy!
She looks great and Poppy is an awesome name. :)
I can’t wait! I can’t wait! I can’t wait!!!
I sooo want to purchase the “Poppy” pattern! Absolutely adorable and the mouse one too. You will have to let me know when you have them up for sale or where I can get them.
:)
Hello Poppy :)
I Love her and can’t wait for the pattern – or for the new wardrobe of clothes for her and Madeleine – My 2 year old daughter will just adore her!! and so will my neice – Madeleine!!

she is lovely
all your knitted toys are so cute
Gorgeous – I learned to knit from dolls clothes patterns in my mum’s magazines. Any chance of aiming some of your patterns at young knitters? I have a five year old niece who I am teaching to knit. If I made her the doll she would have great fun dressing her if the designs were simple.
Your patterns are so wonderful – the clothes and the toys! I can’t wait to see what else your little collection will include!
She’s adorable. The little details make her so special…the barettes, the mary janes, her adorable dress :)
