Today’s google doodle seems like it was made just for me, doesn’t it?

Probably not, it’s in celebration of the two hundredth anniversary of the publication of Grimm’s Fairytales, but it did remind me of something. In case you missed it when it came out, earlier this year I recorded an interview for Michael Wade’s FiberBeat podcast. You can listen to it here, including our own knitterly version of Little Red Riding Hood.

If only I could get away with outfits this themed! The fabric is from Aneela Hoey’sWalk in the Woods collection for Moda. The dress is an extremely simple shirred sun dress, there are tutorials in a bunch of sources, I know there’s a good one in the book Weekend Sewing. The sweater is a tiny version of Melia and will eventually be available in the collection of baby patterns I’m working on (slowly, without deadlines, don’t ask when it will be out!). If, however, you want an adult sized one, I can help with that!
