It’s Knitworthy season! We’re so excited for Knitworthy 3 which began this week, starting off with Belyse – fingerless gloves using an innovative icord finger technique which make the fiddly bit fun. Hopefully the new collection will have something for everyone on your gift list, though if you have a particularly long list of people to knit for or want to add in a few extra treats for yourself, the first two collections should give you plenty of inspiration. I had a look back at the previous years’ projects and thought I’d show some of the stunning work.
First up is a cosy hat from the first collection – Brontannas. I love the autumnal colour iikku chose for her version and how her yarn beautifully shows off those cables.
Hiraeth is one of my favourites from the Knitworthy collection. Intuitive cables at each end the are fun to knit, but you get a little rest with a simpler pattern in between. This version by crestofanocean is stunning in blue.
This very festive pair of Cadeautje were knit by mauerbluemchen. Using striping roving for the thrums is such a great idea, and we even have a few rainbow roving kits in the shop if you’d like to try something similar.
Pyukkleen is a great pattern for using up bits and pieces, and mariannem’s version is wonderful in autumn colours.
Sulionen is one of the quickest projects in the Knitworthy collections, and I love how Si02’s version shows the shaping, great for stopping those pesky gusts of wind from leaking in…
Scandina-vie’s Poklon is so sweet, with such a perfect little face and even a collar!
